Geoff Pretty B. Comm. (Accounting & Finanace)
A qualified accountant who graduated with a grade point average of 6.0 from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) in 2003. While studying Geoff picked up 5 Certificates of Excellence in various accounting subjects. Geoff worked in Adelaide and Whyalla in various accounting and human resources roles. He commenced Business Bookkeeping & IT Solutions in 2005 when he decided to accept the challenge to work for himself in his own business. Starting out with contract work he has grown the business to an ideal size where he now has 2 subcontractors to help him do the accounting, bookkeeping & payroll functions for a number of micro, small and medium size businesses.
Geoff specialises in MYOB software. His specialty is management and financial accounting and reporting for the entities he works for. As a qualified accountant, he understands the needs and requirements of taxation accountants and strives to ensure his customers meet these needs effectively. Geoff is a registered BAS agent (86014 005) and a member of various professional bodies including the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) and Association of Accounting Technicians. Geoff ensures Business Bookkeeping & IT Solutions carries all PI and relevant business insurances.
Bao Mai B. Commerce (Accounting & Finance) &
B. International Business (International Marketing)
Bao is a qualified accountant who graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) and an Bachelor of International Business (International Marketing) in 2003. Bao has worked in various small businesses in accounting and non-accounting roles before finally deciding to utilise his accounting and bookkeeping skills. Bao started his own accounting and bookkeeping business in 2014.
Since this time Bao has worked extensively for Business Bookkeeping & IT Solutions. Bao has considerable information technology skills and has set up and managed several complex networks. Several of these networks include accounting software in various forms. Bao works at customer’s sites or from his home office. Bao specialises in MYOB and Xero software.
Like Geoff, as a qualified accountant, Bao understands the needs and requirements of taxation accountants and strives to ensure his customers meet these needs efficiently and effectively.
